turned out poorly due to my PC. I think I may need to close some applications while recording

Europeans and North Americans going to be at the same time and place! I’m excited for Germany.
I don’t know if I’m going to be able to qualify for WCG nationals =\ My only passable matchup is mirror. My Human versus Elf is pathetic, triple sigh.
(I know I change tenses everywhere)
Thursday night. Packing. Expecting storm conditions.
Friday. transfer in Salt Lake City to NY. Pick up a bunch of Mormons along the way. Arrive at hotel past midnight.
Saturday. No storm, no rain, no cold. Train to 34th and 7th. Wander up Broadway, yada yada, get to Library half an hour before open. Decide not to wait. Grand Central, brunch at Ray’s Pizza. I should have got something more exciting than the Margherita. Slice of cheesecake from Roxy’s Deli. Cookies and Cream flavor was lame. It’s some stuff mixed inside with frosting on top. Should have went for a fruit flavor.
Note: Subway information booths do not have maps
Museum of Modern Art is not very interesting unless you understand/appreciate modern art or can fake it well enough to deceive yourself. Some history of printing stuff, yawn. Earlier Picassos I found interesting, later ones incomprehensible. Did not see any Kandinskys on display.
Carnegie Deli for dinner. $16 Pastrami sandwich was not worth it. High quality pastrami is still boring pastrami. Watched Chicago to finish the day. Got a front row mezzanine seat. Since I’m near blind, that’s probably equivalent of rear mezzanine for normal people. Thoroughly enjoyed it. At times I got caught up listening to orchestra instead of the actors on accident. Would love to get my hands on the score. Yeggi says he really liked Chicago too, which means everyone will likely like it. (I’m a Simpsons fan, he’s a Family Guy guy)
Sunday. Leftover sandwich and cheesecake for breakfast. Would’ve liked to try some street vendor food but I can’t eat that much that fast =[ Head to Samsung Experience at Columbus Circle for WCG
Longwalk has shown up. There goes my free second place. Couldn't get mouse drivers working, other than that the set up was nice. EtapH takes the fourth spot, Flame is mia. Yeggi enters the scene and we soon start playing. Blah blah, games played, I got owned, that's that. We took some pictures but I don't like pictures so you don't get to see them.
Chinatown with Yeggi, EtapH ditched. Ate at Congee Village Restaurant, and it was good. I kept spilling the soup of my soup dumplings (xiao long bao) but they weren't amazing anyway. We got a waiter recommended congee and I think Yeggi liked it a lot XD Tried jelly fish per Yeggi's suggestion and it wasn't bad. It has a seaweed-like texture. Other dishes included a duck, walnut shrimp, and green onion pancake (cong you bing). I accidentally rushed Yegster cause he was eating slow and I thought he was done =[ bad box
Yeggi exits the scene and our protagonist decides to head back to Columbus Circle to check out Central Park. Central Park is beauteous and unique and would be on any 'must see' list of mine. I only had time and energy to walk around the lower part. The park has a romantic air to it.
I tire and retire to the hotel lobby to use the internet. This concludes my adventure.
Post script.
New Yorkers are actually very nice! Not just service workers, but even strangers! One fellow saw me looking at my google map and stopped to ask if I needed help. (I didn't, but I asked anyway cause it's nice to let people be nice and seeking confirmation is always okay ;) Incidentally, I missed the library's open hours again)
If I did it over, I would have spent less time wandering along Broadway and explored edges of Manhattan instead. NYC public transportation so convenient!
Fun times =]
Let’s hope I remember how to creep :D
It’s going to rain =[ Let's hope it's not too heavy so I can still sightsee =[
As always, I'm bringing a camera. As always, I probably won't use it much. Let's hope this time I do =]
Yeggi maintains whole NYC has free wifi. Let’s hope he’s correct :D
WCG filled spots 3 & 4 with some randoms. Let’s hope I still get top two.
maybe I should practice a little. no asia account now since it was reset :(
could always practice creeping..
